Die Welttraumforscher (WTF) are founded as a one-man-project in summer 1981 and release their music on self-produced tapes until 1988.

1988 – 1991: Release of the first four vinyl-12“-LPs and the 7“-single „Kip Eulenmeister“ from which they also produced a videoclip.

1991: Foundation of the WTF-trio for a radio-broadcasting-session and further concerts in Switzerland and Germany.

1993: First CD „Gold vom tiefen Himmel“; further CDs on the WTF-homelabel are following.

2000: The fifth CD „Das Licht Loon“ is released by the label STORA from Hamburg, the videoclip of the song „Weg zu dir“ is broadcasted by VIVA II.

2001: Die Welttraumforscher celebrate their 20th birthday with an exhibition at the location WESTWERK in Hamburg and perform with a complete live-concept with videoanimations on several stages in Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne, Munich and Brussels.

2003: Appearance in „Mojo-Club“ in Hamburg (on an evening of literature!); track on „Definitiv-2“, a wide-spreaded CD-compilation 1987-1997 with the real important acts who represent the musicscene of Zurich / Switzerland.

Current plans: New CD „Vivinas Garten“ and tour with new videoclips.

With the philosophy “Die Welttraumforscher are working with those things they have and not with those things they would like to have” they now can retrospect to 23 years of existence, nearly 30 releases, 3 written books and many pictures and drawings.
